The Hostage | گروگان

Three robbers kidnap Mohsen (Sirus Hassanpour), the son of Etemad, and demand 500,000 tomans for his release. Etemad agrees to the terms with the police in pursuit. Two of the kidnappers are killed, and Etemad’s car plunges into the sea. After the death of the third robber, Mohsen is left orphaned. He befriends Abdullah (Abbas Rangebar) and, together, they become  thieves working for an elderly man (Nematollah Gorji). Years pass, Mohsen (Reza Beyk Imanverdi) and Abdullah (Morteza Aghili) work for a man named Raees. Abdullah meets and marries Fereshdeh (Shahnaz Tehrani), while Mohsen resorts to theft to cover the expenses of their wedding. Abdullah is wounded by a police bullet and is arrested, while Mohsen, after getting acquainted with a girl named Afrouz, works for a company and, after marrying her, becomes the father of a child. Abdullah is released from prison and exposes Mohsen’s file to the company’s executives, leading to Mohsen’s expulsion. The two are offered a deal by their former boss to steal from the company’s safe….
