In this Iranian romantic fantasy, an elderly married couple (Hossein Moharami and RoghiehMoharami) go to the river to wash their gabbeh, a traditional Persian carpet woven with a colorful image of a youthful woman. Suddenly, the figure in the design (Shaghayegh Jodat) miraculously comes to life, introduces herself as Gabbeh, and recounts her history, family, and the man she loved but was prohibited to marry.
