Behrouz (Mehdi Fakhimzadeh), who has a history of mental illness, resides with his brother’s family. One day, fate leads him to encounter Shirin (Roya Nonahali), a separated woman with two children. They develop a mutual attraction and decide to marry, with Shirin working outside the house while Behrouz manages the household duties. Concerned about Behrouz’s disappearance, his brother places a newspaper announcement, unintentionally exposing his condition, leading to complications in their lives as people around them create problems. Shirin’s ex-husband attempts to gain custody of the children by portraying them as dangerous individuals, and even the neighbors add to their troubles. As the situation worsens, Shirin loses her mental balance and suffers an accident, prompting Behrouz to admit her to a mental hospital. Meanwhile, Behrouz witnesses Shirin’s ex-husband plotting to take the children and escapes with them to his brother’s house. However, the court grants custody to Shirin’s ex-husband, leaving them disheartened. Ultimately, both end up in the same hospital, where Dr. Motamedi (Merila Zare’i), the head of the hospital, endeavors to offer them hope. In a surreal twist, it appears that Behrouz and Shirin escape the hospital and soar into the sky with their children, but it turns out to be a dream, and they remain in the same hospital.
