Sweet Jam | مربای شیرین

Despite his relentless efforts, young Jalal (Mani Nouri) finds himself unable to open a stubborn jam jar. Seeking assistance from his mother, neighbors, friends, teachers, and even the neighborhood grocer proves futile as nobody possesses the strength to twist it open. To Jalal’s dismay, he discovers that all the jam jars from the factory share the same unyielding design. Feeling insulted by the factory workers’ negligence, Jalal decides to voice his complaint with the aid of a bread collector. However, rather than addressing the issue, the factory officials cunningly organize a jam jar opening competition, resulting in a surge in sales. Determined to expose the factory’s exploitation, Jalal participates in one of the contests and accuses the managers of squandering national resources. His actions ignite public awareness and protest, pushing the factory to the brink of closure. Nonetheless, the officials manage to resume operations through bribery and introduce new jar designs to continue supplying their products. In a final act, Jalal and his friends confront the factory manager, demanding an apology for factory mistreatment.
