Ismail is a single parent with two children, Ali and Sona. Ali is fearful of stepmothers due to a classmate’s complaints. Ismail marries Esther Khanum, a teacher from an orphanage. Initially, Ali responds to Esther’s kindness with aggression, but her continued kindness and guidance eventually lead him to accept her as his mother.
