The Ghazal | غزال

“Masoomeh” (Fatemeh Goudarzi), a woman writer, endeavors to craft her mother’s life story from a unique perspective. However, her daily life is fraught with complexities that engender contradictions in her writing. Unveiling her husband “Khosro’s” (Mahmoud Pakniat) clandestine affair with a divorced woman adds to her turmoil. As she delves into her mother’s past, exploring themes of hijab and suitors, she unearths a shocking revelation that one of her previous suitors, “Farhad,” introduced Khosro to the divorced woman with the intention of orchestrating Masoomeh’s divorce and pursuing her himself. Disagreeing with Masoomeh’s viewpoint, Khosro refuses to divorce her, leaving her grappling with personal dilemmas. Furthermore, her book faces obstacles during the publishing process due to disputes with the publisher.
