Sara Parsa, a newspaper reporter, and Rahim, a chemical veteran, are traveling together on a train going to Abadan. Sara has a mission to prepare a report on today’s youth conference to which foreign guests have also been invited. Rahim also has a mission to clear a broken silo left over from the war and full of ammunition and explosives. Rahim hesitates in carrying out his mission between the demands of two of his friends, Mahmoud, the governor of Abadan, and Nasser, who is still in the mood of war, but finally decides to do the job. When the news of the sabotage in the silo is spread from the newspaper, Sara is assigned to write a report about the incident. The officers who have doubted Sara’s behavior plan to arrest her. With the guidance of one of her friends, Sara goes to the safest place in the city, the silo. Mahmoud and one of the security officers, who entered the silo in pursuit of Sara, are caught in it while the way out is closed.
