Nosrat, a middle-aged woman who cannot have children, reaches a point where she can’t bear the disappointment of her husband, Nasrat, who desires to have children. She decides to leave the house and seek a divorce. Nasrat, deeply hurt by Nosrat’s departure, makes the surprising decision to marry a lonely girl named Mandegar in an attempt to frighten Nosrat and convince her to return home.
