The Color of Paradise | رنگ خدا

Mohammad (Mohsen Ramezani), a blind child, studies at the school for the blind and returns home for the holidays. His father, Hashem (Hossein Mahjoub), who lives with his mother (Salameh Feyzi) since his wife’s passing, decides to remarry and sends Mohammad to a carpentry workshop. Hashem’s mother protests and leaves the house but is forced to return due to illness and sadly passes away. Hashem, feeling even more alone after receiving a negative response from his potential fiancée, goes to find Mohammad and brings him back home. On their way, Mohammad falls into a river because of a broken bridge, and in a desperate attempt to save his son, Hashem jumps in but ends up getting caught too. After regaining consciousness, Hashem is devastated to find Mohammad lifeless. He holds his son close, and miraculously, Mohammad comes back to life in his father’s arms, filling their lives with hope once more.
