Hojjat (Yadollah Shirandami) is a gendarme and his brother Mansour (Saeed Rad) is a smuggler. Mansour gets imprisoned and after his release, he promises Hojjat that he will not commit any more illegal acts. Mansour becomes acquainted with a well-known woman named Mahboubeh (Nuri Kasrai) and plans to marry her. A smuggler named Khalaf and his brothers intend to eliminate Hojjat from their path. They try to set Mansour against Hojjat. Hojjat is aware of Mahboubeh’s past and his opposition to the marriage of Mansour and Mahboubeh causes a rift between the two brothers. Mansour once again turns to smuggling. Khalaf plants some heroin in Mansour’s car and informs the police station officers about it. Mahboubeh, who is aware of this situation, informs Mansour, and eventually, Khalaf and the smugglers are caught by the police.
