The pleasant voice of “Nemat,” a young man from Ahwaz, leads to “Jamshid,” the owner of a cabaret in Tehran, achieving popularity and wealth. However, when Nemat tries to use his talent for his own benefit, Jamshid, feeling wronged and seeking revenge, attempts to marry Ameneh by paying her father. But Ameneh, who is in love with Nemat, commits suicide by throwing herself into a river, and Jamshid is eventually caught by the claws of justice.
