This article discusses the themes of Cultural Identity and Displacement in Bahrām Bayzāʼī‘s film Bashu, The Little Stranger while further addressing the concept of minoritarian theorized by Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari. This is followed by exploring Bayzāʼī‘s portrayal of Bashu as a quasi-Shaman that mediates healing and blessing to Nai and her farm despite being unable to communicate in Nai‘s Gilaki dialect.
