Vahid is in the process of making a war film. He has invited his friend Ali, the composer, to create music based on some of the completed scenes. However, Ali is having trouble connecting with the film. To familiarize himself with the film, Ali accompanies Vahid to the filming location, where they unexpectedly find themselves in the heart of real battle trenches in the Chazabeh region. While Vahid is pleased with this experience, Ali is not comfortable with the dangers of being in such a place and cannot bear to witness the real scenes of war and the deaths of young soldiers. With the help of Behrouz, Samad, Commander Hassan Kaveh, Morad Chelcheraq, Morteza, and the rest of their comrades, Vahid ventures with them but eventually they all return to the present time and the filming location of Vahid’s movie.
